This week has been a very big week: coming home from Sydney and realising my bike had been stolen, claiming said bike on insurance and all that entails and then writing 14 pages of a job application for the position I am currently working in. It was a massive week and one I couldn't have gotten through without Nathan's tireless efforts at keeping me fed by doing groceries and cooking meals while I sat at the computer. He even cleaned the unit in preparation for family night last night as well as making the dinner to feed everyone. He is a true blessing. I sometimes can't believe it.
SO, once dinner was served we cracked open a bottle of bubbly and celebrated both finishing the application and the birth of Faith (the bottle was a gift given to Rikki and Kristin as a congratulations for Faith's safe arrival). After the bubbly it was "Ticket to Ride" time: a new game we received from Rikki, Kristin, Josh, Simeon and Faith for our engagement/wedding. It is a strategy game with the aim of building railroad tracks across Germany: Nathan is very good at it and beat me that night. But I am ok with that. Here are some pics FYI:
