Our First Outing

As promised here are some new photos of our bikes in action!! We decided to ride to the Torrens this morning and do our devotion there. The sun was out and the birds were chirping =) Very picturesque and the beginning of many bike adventures together. It's precisely why we need two bikes not two cars!

My New Wheels

Today I bought myself a mountain bike!! It will come very handy now that I am without a car! I sold my car last monday as part of our preparation for marriage. The insurance was due soon and we had already decided that we don't need two cars between us when we are married! (and besides Anisia has a really good Toyota Corolla)

So for now it is me and my bike! My bike is the white one and Anisia's is the blue one. I ended up getting the exact model Anisia has and they are both brand new because Anisia just had hers replaced with insurance. We are both very proud of our bikes, perhaps Anisia more so, as she has had more recent exposure to bikes. As for me, I have to remember how its done because i seem a little shaky but you know what they say...

Making reception decor

I am on a mission to make the decor for the reception...here is the beginnings of it all: 53 metres of pink fabric and 12 metres of grey fabric, all ripped up in the correct dimensions thatnks to Nathan and his measuring tape. We had fun having riping races down the length of the roll!
